I'm going to actually go see it as I fear it might be flimsy st.

I do get a new garage till February so I'm not in a real rush.

Well I personally don't think its flimsy. Certainly sturdy enough for 60 quid.

I'm impressed, I'm sure another punter would be too.

cool, I was just suspect as normally b and q and halfords are miles more expensive. this time they are the cheapest around which made me suspicious.

The halfords tool chests were all on pretty decent offers before Xmas, I decided to wait and now the buggers have gone back up. :S In general halfords stuff is good, but you need the professional or advanced ranges. The £250 socket set you could buy for £112 was a good buy yesterday.

If you're looking at Halfords stuff and have a Morrisons near you, buy some Halfords gift cards from Morrisons first, ever £10 on gift vouchers gets you 1p off fuel, so a £50 tool chest will give you 5p/litre off fuel.

Heine Gerick are doing 40% off a load of thier clothing at the moment.

Go for the pro or industrial ones. More expensive but vastly better build quality and an awesome lifetime warraty. Find someone with a trade card if they are full price. If its just for you garage and unlikely to be moved, spend the cash on wood and steel to build a workbench. Make it with a backboard so you can hang your tools on it and make a lockable spave underneath.

that does look better than the halfords one, not much in it mind you I was impressed with the halfords one when I seen it mind you.

I need to wait just now though, no where to put it till I get a new garage.
