A bit of a mad idea, but hey, I'll just throw this out there...

...stick with the OEM ones!?

Or, nick some of your missus' nail varnish and paint them something pretty, like pink!

It's not just how they look, all the ones I've had adjusted much better than the originals.

New one just arrived to match my clutch lever now I've upgraded my master cylinder. smile

I've had a few sets now. Never had the bike try to kill me (through no fault of my own anyway) and I've never had the anodising fade either.

I have simialr ones for the pani and had them on previous bikes with absolutely no issues! First thing I do on all my bikes. Truely cheap and truely cheerful. smile

the colour would match my lid.

its more for the short levers look. to be honest I find oem ones too big, always use only two fingers for brake/clutch from days of mountain biking.

You lot are an OCD bunch.
My bikes levers are fked and they were before the crash. Ends missing and all sorts. (I have no idea how, I am guessing the last owner was worse than me. eek)

But I suppose mine is just a commuting slag.

makes blipping the throttle easier under braking (I would imagine) for myself.

Inverted levers are the future. Or the past, maybe.

Same for me, much prefer using two fingers, the brakes not so bad but definately with the clutch.

Might get some of the adjustable length ones.

You'll understand when you get something nice that you're proud of owning and I don't mean that in a funny way

Levers that feel right make a bike so much more 'comfy' to ride too.

Yeah I know I will.
I will be too bad and I will never ride the bloody thing.

I put a cheap brake lever on my bike and found reguarly that my font brake would suddenly clamp shut causing my bike to slow down rapidly. It took me ages to find out what it was, but read it on a forum that it could be due to a cheap lever. After completely stripping and cleaning my brakes and master cylinder which still didn't fix the issue, I bought a OEM lever and haven't had the issue for 4 months now.

I have pazzo levers on my bike currently. But on my blade I bought some cheap ones from Hong Kong. They were great. Did 2.5k on track over three years. No issues and seemed good finish. Far better than the oem ones that were on before. Tbh I couldn't justify the difference in price between pazzo and cheapo ones but pazzos were on it when I bought it. If I need to replace them I'll get cheap ones for certain.
