the postie dropped them off this morning.

bloody quick considering I only ordered them yesterday at 2 ish and never paid for next day delivery.

Had them on most of the morning doing the housework and they are fantastic.

I compared them to the original aye-phone ones (normal ear phones) much better though an unfair comparison as they aren't in ear headphones.

then compared them to the cheap in ear-phones I got off ebay for a few quid. Miles better, you can actually hear the music.

when I put the old earphones on it was like listening to music through a wall, you could hear it but it just wasnt clear. Mind you they were only a few quid.

hopefully they will block out wind noise on the bike but so far im impressed as long as they last more than six months.

thanks clap

now I just need to delete the ste from the aye-phone that the other half has put in as cherl cole still sounds st even with these earphones.

And that my friend is why you can easily go from £15 to £40, to £80, to £100, to £150 etc. wink

There becomes a point though when the cost far outweighs the epiphany of "wow, unbelievable, so clear, feel even more like I'm in the audience!"

Compared my earphones today against a £65 set a £10 skull candy ones.

The soundmagic ones I bought are much better that the skull candy ones and a bit better than the £65 set.

So thanks, once you have good quality you can’t go back.

well less than half a year of usage and the usual, one ear has gone.

Bit pissed off, I only use them at the weekends and maybe a few miles to work in the summer.

anyone had the same problem?

Have you tried learning your favourite songs and simply singing to yourself?

Since you like a bargain, try these out:

Been using mine for nearly a year, great bassy sound and quality is easily as good as both my beats ones and Bose in ear I had before.

Surely these are the only budget choice for a biker:

http://www.amazon.co.uk/Digital-Silence-Analogue-C...

They do stick out so you have to hold the flaps apart and pull the helmet off carefully. Main benefit is when you turn them on they lessen the sounds that make your ears ring. There is no button to switch noise cancellation on/off like the bose quiet comforts, its a switch so might be hard to do with gloves on.

Why bother with the hassle of recharging the thing etc. when well fitted in ear monitors with foam/rubber eartips protect your ears just as well as good earplugs?
