It was. We didn't get the grey/black ones, which were particularly tasty
I love that colour. There was one in the classifieds last summer. Two owners and not many miles. First owner was in the RAF so perhaps brought it back from a European posting? Or simply imported it of course.Edited by rich_b on Tuesday 26th February 21:59
Great story to these bikes

Bought and run by a chap in London I think. Have seen it on my commute a few times.Great story to these bikes
A great read there - it strikes me that many of the world's greatest sporting machines are the product of a single-minded maverick rather than a marketing department. Tadao Baba comes across here with strong hints of Colin Chapman, Peter Wheeler and Gordon Spice, which doesn't surprise me in the slightest. We need more people like him in the industry - Tetsuya Tada, for example.

this +1Not really a bike fan (though i did learn to ride ) but that article is fantastic.
Also really love reading when it shines through how much a person is devoted to their trade and craft and made something he still believes in now.
I'd like to buy on of these just to look at .... reason i am not a bike fan is i couldnt trust myself on one!

Not 100% sure, but cannot recall that been a colour scheme on UK blades.
Personally I always thought this was the best colour scheme:Not 100% sure, but cannot recall that been a colour scheme on UK blades.
My one was in the more traditional Red/Black but still thought it looked good, in fact I think all the 954 colour schemes are good and it really is a masterpiece of a bike.
