This is such an excellent scam, isn't it? It trades on both greed and laziness. bds. I could have wasted that money on almost nothing else.

So I've picked up some of this!

Basically muck off but for the price of £1 yes £1 from pound land! I only got one bottle to try out but it's all good so I'm going back for more smile
This stuff still available from my local Poundland they had a shelf full but as I was shopping with the Mrs I could only pickup 2. It's going to be put to the test on my currently sh*tty dirty speed triple tomorrow morning. Have used Castrol Greentec and autoglym bike cleaners for many years.
There's tons of it in Poundland at Crown Point in Leeds; I bought a couple to test. I actually still had a bottle and a half of Muc-Off to compare it with.

Colour is identical, smell is identical, "feel" is identical and it works just the same. I swear it's the exact same stuff, but 12.5% of the price.

I guess it's like Red Bull - you're paying a load for their race teams, F1 etc etc.
I should add I've almost used 3/4 of a bottle now of my two I bought, it seems to do its job just fine for the initial dirt removal - personally I just use it on the lower parts of my bike that really suffer with use in rain rad/engine/swing arm, wheels, shock areas. Not bad for £1 a bottle smile

Received my calipers and heat gun today. Reasonable quality, all working, all good. I can confirm that the dog gets 0.1 degree hotter after I've made him run for a few balls biggrin

Could it just be a scam that we have fallen for?

I hope its not. The width of various household items are waiting to be measured.

Mine was supposed to be delivered last Thursday. I am holding out for it until the end of the week and then I will cancel it. Ever the optimist.

I've received the standard email from Amazon asking me to comment on my purchase - including "Was it delivered on time". For £2 I'm not going to cancel, certainly not for a while. Let's see.

Went into Aldi today to pick up a pair of cheap biking Jeans for £35. They had about 5 pairs mostly sizs 32" and 1 36". Rather than hung on the rack they was in a sale type basket. They had £12.99 on the tags so was well chuffed. Got to the till and they went through as £8.99! Great price imo. Unfortunately the 36" was slightly too big for my son but they fit me just fine biggrin
