Oxford commuter heated grips and Ride magazine subscription £14
Topcashback.co.uk is offering £10 cashback for greatmagazines at the moment and greatmagazines is offering 20% off today. With code joybf20%
If you go through topcashback to get the £10 ride is currently £30 year including free heated grips. If you put the 20% off code it takes it to £24 and the cashback takes it to £14.
The grips are the cheapest in the range but are still £40 most places, they dont have the auto-off that the more expensive ones have, but dont have terrible reviews either. Wouldnt subscribe to ride myself (think they lost their way years ago) but has saved me £30 for grips I was going to buy anyway. As for it being direct debit wait for the dd to be taken then cancel.

I got myself an oil filter and some scratch remover for £4 (should have been obviously £14)
Hardly worth it for a helmet etc but handy for maybe lubes, etc. You could easily get something free.
check junk mail for the code.

I fitted the Garmin zumo sat nav from Aldi last night. It is a good bit of kit, but i'm not sure i can live with the bloody great mount that's provided.
Its hard wired in, I've had to buy a telfrizer ball (£35!) to go into the headstock as the RAM handlebar mount wont fit anywhere.
The other main problem is that you cannot remove the mount easily without having to dismantle the mount and remove the power cable, so i'm going to have to buy a waterproof plug and wire it in so i can easily remove the mount when not in use.

I bought one a similar thing to the telferiser as I thought £35 was too much, its better than the other telferiser I already had (too big) and its not coming out easily. Its hard wired in, I've had to buy a telfrizer ball (£35!) to go into the headstock as the RAM handlebar mount wont fit anywhere.

The power cable thing is a bit of a faff with the way it has to be screwed in, I'll just leave the mount on for now, I'd be interested in your solution with the waterproof plug as I want to do the same.
I'm going to cut the cable at the back of the mount and insert one of these, i can then just unplug it and easily remove the mount.

I,ve just ordered the mount.

I'm thinking of using this type if I can find them on sale without having to buy 1000 of themhttp://uk.rs-online.com/web/p/products/3141198/?gr...

Second one down, I'm presuming its just a +'ve and -'ve on the Garmin power supply? I've not looked and I'm at work.
Edit, one of these should do the job, bit large though

I think I will just buy 2 of them and use the spare female one with some silicone sealer in it and a small cable tie to make a handy waterproof caphttp://www.ebay.co.uk/itm/321418356615?_trksid=p20...

I have my superseal connectors so i will make the step and cut the wire to the Sat Nav and probably screw it up.
I also got the telfrizer Ram mount for the headstock which was £35! But it is impressive and very easy to fit. It fits so well you could lift the bike up on it!
