I can only agree on the backpack, swmbo doesn't like it and is keeping my axio. It's also designed not I fit when sitting or standing up straight so it will be better for someone Ina sport bike who's hunched.
It'll do for the work laptop, beats the massive backpack they provided for that.

They connect together with a 500m range (I only have one unit so never connect to another). To be honest, not sure how they connect as 500m is too far for bluetooth and mobile wouldn't be restricted to 500m. Probably some kind of radio transmitter/receiver.

Would these be ok for me and my pillion (son) to talk to each other while riding ? Do they connect by our phones or work like an intercom?
Sorry Ive no idea about anything like this
Thanks
Seems to be 2 versions. I have seen a version where a double tap of the central button activates Siri, which would mean you can voice dial, call up a play list etc. A double tap on my set switches to FM radio.ahhh, could they be connected to a Zumo do you think?

Got these from eBay for my commute. For £25 they are a bargain. Unlikely to rival a Sena for sound quality, but they are perfectly fine listening to the Front End Chatter podcast on my journey to work.Seems to be 2 versions. Whilst Lomo products, and that bag, are fantastic, I am pretty sure £30 is the normal price.Well the hard shell rucksack from a few pages ago arrived yesterday.
If i'd paid full retail on it i'd be sending it back, but at £9.99 + (SLOW) postage it's not too bad.
Comments:
The "hard" shell isn't really that hard, it's only cardboard-like in thickness. Unfortunately on mine the shape isn't particularly symmetrical so it looks a bit odd and needs bending into shape a bit. Also, when wearing the rucksack the bottom of the shell pushes into my lower back. Bending forward into an "i'm on my bike" position feels comfy enough, but not sure i fancy walking round wearing it.
The way it opens is a bit fiddly as you have to bend the straps outward to expose the "underbelly" of it before unzipping it. There are no other outer pockets for keeping anything handy, to get anything out it's rucksack off and opening it all up.
The straps, and particularly the buckles, are really flimsy. They don't pop open when given a bit of tension, but they don't feel anywhere near as solid as anything from Kriega
So i'd still go for a Kriega over this even at 8x the price.

The R30 is essentially a US30 roll pack with 2 extra small pockets, I'm pretty sure the main bag is 30l then the small pockets on top. There are no dividers, it's the same white inner bag system as the US packs.
It really didn't look that way when I had them side by side. The R35 looked much better for storage which is why I bought it.But I'm open to be wrong about it.

Hmmm, I think you may have been expecting a bit too much I was not expecting it to be 'hard shelled'. Build quality looks good for a tenner. It looks good sat under my desk at work, where it will probably live, forever... My R35 is obviously much better build quality, but for £10 I cannot complain. If i'd paid full retail on it i'd be sending it back, but at £9.99 + (SLOW) postage it's not too bad.

I used the bargain £13 hard shell ruck sack for a trip to lakes and it did the job.
But the straps are useless, the buckle is on 1 side and not in the middle so i couldn't even reach the buckles with all my gear on to attach them, so they were removed. But apart from that i didn't really notice that is was on my back, so comfortable.

Another oily thing I saw while buying coolant...
Fowlers in Bristol have some 4 litre bottles of Motorex KTM Racing 4T 20W/60 for £45, which is apparently half price.
I guess they don't sell many 90 quid cans of oil.
Might be useful for KTM owners in the West Country.
