Sadly only full priced items frown
That's tempting. X-SPR Pro with a photochromic visor for £730.

However, I shall refrain, not had a chance to try one on yet.

Sub £100 and 2 year warranty seems a good deal to me for Lift. Pretty sure you could get vouchers or a further discount from perks at work type schemes to reduce further too

Could someone explain to me how that lift would be used with a motorbike? Struggling to understand what you'd use as lifting points.

AIUI, approximately underneath the engine on the frame rails

Exactly.

It's intended for bikes that have full loop frames, such as Harleys and other cruisers, and Triumph "modern classics".

Yeah I figured that was the case, I just had visions of people trying to lift their sportsbikes on the headers and whatever they can find at the back and it ending badly for them!

XLMOTO are doing their Jeans and Jacket for £89.98 Combo deal again:

https://www.xlmoto.co.uk/campaign/motorcycle-cloth...

Looks like a smaller selection of jackets this time but a slightly larger selection of jeans. I was happy with the stuff I ordered last year and will be breaking it out again when the weather isn't regularly brass monkeys!

The jeans are only A rated. Probably fine around town on a scooter, but not for the open road IMO.

Last year most were A rated but there was one type that were AA rated for the jeans (the 'Course Jones' ones I ordered are AA rated - I have replaced knee and hip with level 2 stuff since I ahd spare kicking around) and I think all the jackets available when I ordered were AA but the selection of sizes was limited so I ahd to go with my second choice design.

I will admit that I didn't look too closely at this year's offerings since I'm not in the market for more gear.

I wore my stuff maybe a dozen or so times last year and it was OK, but a couple of the pockets have got holes in now, possibly from keys poking through.

I'm 6ft2, 45 inch chest. 103kg. I need the 4XL (the size charge says I need less) but I know less would be waaaaaaay too tight.

It came today. The waist hangs straight down at the bottom but the chest is tight.

It's a weird cut. Saying that. If I bought 2XL I'd have to shoe horn myself in!

55 is a bargain!
