Brand snobbery!

Not at all, I have assorted bits of Halfords Pro stuff myself and I have no issue with it, but I could find better things to spend £150 on than that particular set.
I have everything from Aldi spanners to Britool, Facom, CK, King Dick and yes, even Snap-Off wink

Knowing the right tool for the job and how to use it is half the battle in ensuring tools (of any quality) last. Trouble is many people aren't 'taught' how to use tools these days so discover the monkey tactics too early on and then blame the tools when they break.

I have only an adjustable spanner by them/Bahco, but it's really nice (much better than the king dick one I was using)
Agreed, Bahco adjustables are good, we use them at work - as well as side cutters and pliers of theirs.

It seems awfully cheap to me, perhaps a typo by the seller?
Contact them and ask, just be wary in case it's a scam.
Edited to add the ad is accurate re the Daytona footrests which your average scammer wouldn't list.

ive been using the halford pro stuff for about the last 4 years and never had a problem.
I've got a set, first time I used the Phillips head bit the metal snapped (6 months old) and last time I got them out they were rusty! All now about 3 years old, need to swap the above bit and enquire about the rust but they were a gift = no receipt frown

I don`t think you need the receipt with Halfords branded stuff, not sure they will do anything about the rust though.

You categorically do need a receipt for the Halfords lifetime guarantee, it changed a few years ago. Perhaps there's exceptions but as I mentioned earlier I needed it replace my breaker bar despite an obvious defect. Thankfully I was forewarned.

I'm also on my third box of screwdrivers after the ends rounded off. They were free but I'd never buy a set.

Spanners and sockets and ratchets have all been great though.

Yeah I spoke to them but it was crap really. Anything they had discounted they returned to full price then reduced it whereas getgeared were reducing prices of stuff that was already reduced.

Some decent savings to found here. Arai Chaser V for under £200 etc. Some fairly hefty discounts on some of the other kit depending on how competitive the original price quoted is.
sorry just seen your link you spotted first.

Lots of half prince Alpinestars T shirts over at 24MX.co.uk.
Come out at about a tenner, but they are very nice quality, and very long, which is nice for bikers and fatties.

The following Black Friday deal is available at GetGeared:

You bd I just bought another lid laugh

£320 in the sale, then 25% off £240 delivered
bds, after almost two weeks I emailed them today.

there supplier has ran out and they cannot offer me a replacement.

They offered me another helmet but many are £450 for a chaser v, even with the discount I can still get cheaper else where. Must say im rather pissed, especially after buying it I thought, "hmm I don't need to get a cheap lid at the bike show".

It's still showing as in stock, so you might have some luck getting motolegends to price match them (and they'll beat the price by 10%) if they sell the same version.
