TCX Infinity goretex, a boot I always wanted to try but could never quite justify the price (they were £220 when I bought my last pair of boots, A* web goretex, £150) have just been supplanted by an "evo" version - new sole, metal buckles instead of plastic... the older Infinities are now going cheaper, various around, best I could find was:

http://www.lidsdirect.co.uk/clearance-sale/clearan...

The Webs have worn the sole down smooth and dangerously slippy (they can be replaced, for £60-70 odd, but frankly the rest of the boots have seen better days too, despite still being 100% waterproof; I love goretex).... So guess who's bought himself a Christmas pressie? smile

Halfords 120 piece massive socket set now less than £60, down from £160. TODAY ONLY reserve online and collect in store after Xmas.
Cheers!

Tried to get this from Grantham and Melton branches today and both sold out. Needed a drive out anyway to entertain the kids - fookin nightmare today so time in silence driving was welcome!

Been making do with a 1/2" drive ratchet and a mix of 1/4, 3/8 and 1/2 sockets for a while, some extension and some not with some missing for ages. This will do nicely.

Reserved online now. A bargain. Thanks for posting!

Reserved one of those 120 piece sets myself, been making do with a hotchpotch of tools and borrowing sockets/spanners etc so my own decent socket set will be great. Seems like it's got everything I could need too!

Picked mine up tonight, apparently they had a stack of 9 in the back of the store all reserved biggrin

Glad I borrowed a car to go get it though, no way I was getting that back in a rucksack. Although a 1/2" breaker bar or a longer 3/8" one would have been nice to have.

A decent torque wrench is next on my list of tools to have.

Just ordered some held race tex gtx gloves, down to £136 (plus an extra £5 off voucher) from £170 at sportsbikeshop.co.uk - I needed some longer gauntlet type summer/spring/autumn gloves with goretex and these seem to fit the bill nicely. Their returns are great (returned 2 sets of Knox gloves before due to sizing then fit issues) so I have no qualms ordering gloves online from them.

Thanks Tom - saved me £25 on some boots. thumbup
And they're ideal - short TCX commuter boots that are waterproof and comfy to walk in as well. smile
And which have now had to be returned as the insoles were sliding around inside when walking which was uncomfortable. GetGeared were good though and I've replaced them with a set of Alpinestars which hopefully won't suffer from the same problem.

That isn't that cheap, it's not bad, but not great. There are loads for sale at or around that price.

Prices move according to supply. S1000 wheels were only available via BMW a few years back. 5EBs are being broken after the race season has finished, if they had WOWs then that's two sets per bike to flood the market with. Plus, most owners will already have their own WOWs so where are the buyers going to come from?

That has to be the gayest post, especially coming from a man who acts like he has the fastest gun in the west On here, a man who takes no st from no one.

I kinda expected something along the lines of I smashed a Gram of ching, downed a quarter of mcallums and finished the night of with a bottle of ether.

Instead we got Bridget Jones posting, I suppose you stuck on the breakfast club and slipped into your onesie you fking poof.

I did all that. I'm stuck on the ing settee as I can't bd walk and getting in touch with my feminine side. Even pornhub has lost its appeal.
