A Lidl or Aldi one for £13 will work just as well, with the added bonus of being able to also use it on a car battery as it can output 3.8 amps on the car setting. They still do the maintenance intelligent charging, deep sulphated recovery etc.
I bought a pair of the Lidl ones a few weeks ago for the bikes - fantastic quality things, really top notch. Really good value for money.

I think Lidl is my favourite shop.

Me too. The post the other week about breathable sports t-shirts was great. Bought a few and they're fantastic for the gym and i can imagine will be terrific in the summer under my perforated leathers.

The Lidl charger is great, but I do have one annoyance, come a power outage it resets and doesn't tend the battery until you press the mode button to select the bike setting - since I'm away I can't keep an eye on it unfortunately and I think my battery is goosed after a couple of totally drained batteries thanks to the alarm & immobiliser.

I love mine to biggrin

I wouldn't leave the battery on charge with it though after all its a charger not a conditioner + it is cheap st. I got fed up of charging mine up due to the alarm, just took the battery off my bike earlier in the year.

Went to Lidl to have a look at the bike stuff, the thermal/cooling tops and socks look very decent quality so picked some up.

I have a medium that I haven't even tried on as the large was fine if anyone wants it for £11 delivered to your door?
Saves you standing in the overly long que when they only open one checkout.

Had a look at their flip front lids too....yeah, I wouldn't trust those to project my head.

I'll take this off your hands if it's ok and have just emailed you.

Me too! Saw a feller buying a flip front from there the other day, if the battered box was anything to go by I wouldn't fancy trying one out.

Genuine quality feel to them and look like to do what the box says!

Just a heads up to anyone making use of the LIDL deals at the moment, if you buy a balaclava get the bigger ones. They're a bit tight!

I'll be popping over to have a look at the bank bag for a forthcoming trip.
Anyone got/had one?

Only a small thing but lids direct have got an oxford battery condioner half price, plus use LIDSDIRECT15 and get 15% off too! basically covers the postage. Been wanting one for a while but struggled to want to pay 50 for something so un exciting!
They've got oxford luggage bags at good prices too, I think postage is free if you spend over £100.

Thanks for that. Just ordered 2.

M&P have the standard Oximiser for £15 but I reckoned this was worth the extra £5.

I got the tank bag. It's my first one so nothing to compare it to, but it seems pretty good! Well made and the four magnets seem decently strong.

Bought the wind cheater under tops and trousers. Seem pretty standard, feel no different to my Knox hood thing.

I bought the tank bag as well, it has a bit in it for a SatNav which is the main reason for getting it, I also got some 'bike' socks!!

Won't it damage the tank.
