^^ Thanks. I must admit I've had enough of the Bell so I'm looking for something to replace it.

I wore my £240 flouro one on Saturday for the first time.

Very nice helmet. Actually is has a purple tint under light up close, quite cool.

Back on the bargain helmets, anyone rate the carbon HJC? £200 off at lids direct, wondered how it would compare to the bargain Bell on amazon (which is currently at £160ish for the m5x), that weave looks sexy anyways.

Never had a HJC, so can't comment on the quality.

It looks higher spec though, compared to the Bell. The HJC has vents you can shut and pinlock; the Bell has neither. Everything else looks comparable. Must be worth a go.

If Lorenzo is anything to go by, they fog up in the rain and the lining keeps falling out....

After spending the last 3 weeks eyeing up the carbon Bells I have finally buckled, even after reading the seemingly mixed reviews on here. At £165 delivered it doesn't even matter if it's a piece of st really.

In fact, if you wanted a nice nearly new blade, they've got a 15 plate bike with 900 miles for £9999. That's £166 p/m over the 5 yrs on 0% and a couple of grand off the list price.
