What other pearls of wisdom can you pass on?
How does it compare with your bikes?
I took one out last weekend and didn't really like it to be honest. All the mags rave about how It's such a good all rounder but it only seemed to be good at going quick. It was horrible in town and not that comfortable because of the wind blast. The engine was just way too jerky for me and that was what ruined it, it just seemed like the throttle was on or off. Of course such a quick throttle response when riding quickly made it loads of fun but I don't see it as the all rounder people make it out to be. I felt knackered after 80 miles where I can do 200+ easily on my old BMW.How does it compare with your bikes?
Not for me but I can see why people buy them for Sunday bikes etc. You spend a lot of time on one wheel and I don't think I've ever laughed so much when riding quickly.

I worked with him for years, and he's a genuinely lovely bloke too. I hope he has success in this venture
As an aside, have you heard the story of him riding the bike with the fuel pump that was powered by the rear suspension? Every time it moved it pumped the fuel, so when he was sitting on the line he'd have to bounce the bike. As he was so much quicker than everyone else, they all started thinking maybe he knew something they didn't, so started bouncing their bikes too

+1Lust doesn't even come close.
All white with red frame and the square exhausts.
The riding position, performance, reliability, lack of dealers, not using to full potential, wait for parts, etc,
I would live with.
One day hopefully.
Sorry but dunno how to put up a pic of one - if anyone can help would be appreciated.

I met him a few times when we were working on the TTXGP bike a few years back, fascinating guy.

Some very good and some very dubious taste here ....
I'm currently trying to prise this out of the hands of its current owner, in road trim its a rare 999R Fila rep with full carbon firbre bodywork. I prefer it like this though:
What a scheme - right up there with the 98 R1 Martini replica that Fast Bikes magazine had.I'm currently trying to prise this out of the hands of its current owner, in road trim its a rare 999R Fila rep with full carbon firbre bodywork. I prefer it like this though:
Surprised at the lack of homologation specials on this thread. This is the one I hanker for the most.
