Aye, got rid of it before I got the VFR, sold it to a lad at work who's already dropped a new (ebay jobby) engine in it to cure the 2nd gear problem. He plans to slowly refurb it I think, although not to your level!

I popped into Fastline in Preston again to have a look around and have a drool at the NR750 they have in the window, I can't really explain why I want one...

Randomly found image but this

K7 GSXR 750 by Vindihåret, on Flickr

Went along to a bike showroom today and saw a few 750 GSXR's. They just seem so nice and the one above would be perfect if not for the wavy front discs and the mirrors.

I keep finding myself lately wanting a sportier bike hehe
fk a duck! What Yoshi can is that!?!?

I really fancy a Cagiva Mito. My usual fancy is a VFR400, but the two stroke Cagiva sounds like fun.

The things putting me off are the fact that the majority seem to be

1) Old and haggard

2) resprayed

But they are fabulous to look at. Would I be nuts for thinking of commuting on one? Ideally I'd have an Aprilia RS250 (post 2000 with the digital display) but I don't fancy spending £5000 on a bike!

Should I just fking buy one, or what?

If the cash was there for a 916 I'd be on the back of the Aprilia RS250! (it's also quite the looker).

Would I though, ultimately regret getting a Cagiva Mito once I had a full licence? I intend on going to DAS in the next few months, and would want something which would still do the tricks of getting me to work and back, and entertaining when I want to hit the highlands?

Even though I've just got a new bike which I'm love with, as stated earlier in this thread, a man should always lust for more. And with that in mind, today I really want an old Honda CBR250RR, the "baby Fireblade". I love these little things and their lunatic engines that go up to 20,000rpm. It's a shame Honda don't make anything like it today, the current Honda CBR250R is no match at all, being completely insipid, but still shamelessly available in HRC and Repsol colours.

At the moment I'm lusting after an RD400. If I could sneak something like this into my garage I'd be very happy.

yes Even though they are old, small & (probably) difficult/impossible for spares I'd have one. Just to hear it scream.

(as long as it doesn't go pop afterwards !!)
