I know they say the VFR400 no longer represents anything like value for money, but I do want one, quite a lot!

I'd love a VFR just to lock away in my garage and look at.

I do like this thread. Can you tell?

Kent based custom motorcycle builder Spirit of the Seventies are building a small run of Speed Triples. This is their render.
Going by previous efforts expect it to look very similar cool

Although, I do hear rumours of poor cornerning stability by lousy OE shocks on these?

Did I hear the rumour correctly, or was I just dreaming about it?confusedhehe

The TL1000S had some problems, allegedly. The rotary damper was an interesting design but after hard use the oil would overheat and the damper would suddenly stop working, it's way of telling you this had occurred was by not giving you any suspension at the rear and spitting you off while accelerating over a bump, or so I hear. I believe the issues were fixed or at least alleviated on the TL1000R, but iirc it still has a rotary shock absorber. Kits are available from various companies to replaced the rotary unit with a convential one.

The sound too, the sound...

You've set me away dreaming now. They are seriously good looking bikes aren't they?

I love the twin exhausts on the 1290 Superduke concept too, very cool.

Such good looking bikes, I love a GSX-R, even the latest one, or the "Halibut as my friend calls it.

Here is what I've been lusting over for a while.

I know they're meant to be an amazing ride, but even just aesthetically I think they are brilliant, I could look at one of these for ages.

i lust after a lot of bike, and for a long time it has been these.

V MAX

NSR250 MC28

monster 796

this one, what ever it is, i need it.

daytona 675, sat on one in laguna's showroom, before the floods around xmas, and it just fitted so right, and after taking a street triple out on a test ride (i know the street triple is a detuned version of the engine) i need one.
