2013 repsol fireblade. I've wanted a 'blade ever since Marshall Honda let me have one for a day while my ratty old fazer was in for MOT. Top lads and a shame they've closed now.
Popped over to Grantham Honda earlier and had a look at the current 'blades and i don't really like the standard colour schemes - black is alright but looks like any other year of 'blade, HRC looks a bit dull, white looks like it'll age badly. The repsol from last year looks lovely though.
What i didn't realise is that honda are doing 0% finance with PCP on the ABS blades. £2.5k deposit and £185 per month. Dangerous!!
Likewise, think I'd prefer a Repsol 600-RR though. So much want, but at 9k usssstt, and they regularly build then.
My bubble was burst last year when I realised that me and a ZX10r will never get on. That's because it's too small and I'm too big
"If you think that's cramped you won't get on a BMW S1000" said the dealer. *pop* went another bubble.
So I bought a ZZR14 instead, and happy.
I do still lust after these though:
The k1-2 fit me quite well. The k3-4 was a bit smaller. By k5-6 they were getting titchy.
The prices for decent k5-6s are staggering though. Considering they are 10-11 years old they are proof that Suzuki really did hit the nail on the head with that model. You'll pay less for a K7-9 I should think.

Lol no it is fairly priced not a bargain but was surprised how immaculate it was. Not a mark on it.
That's the GSX-F model though, you could probably get a GSX-R for the same. Maybe with a few more miles on it, but then it's a hell of a lot more bike for the money.Mastodon2 said:
