Just seen this on fleabay, a TDR with an RG500 engine. That would scratch the 2 stroke itch

0% at Doble's

Whats better?
I don't think they are doing 0% on the 2013 colours. Farnham Honda are though.

I'm waiting to see what year end/winter discounts there are for cash and to also see what the 2014 model releases are by the various manufacturers.
you know its sods law, no matter how good the deal is, you will see one 6 months later thats even better ?

and if you wait a few years, you can buy a 2000 mile old one for 50% of new price for cash smile

The Honda dealer in Edinburgh are doing 5 years 0% finance on 2012 Blades.
It's such a pity they've made the 2013 HRC so gooddamn gorgeous that the 2012 would seem like second best.
So I'll wait until they come up with some decent deals on the 2013.

Not just the looks though - 2013 BPF Showas and new digi-dash are worth the upgrade imho, paint job aside!

I've just had a little accident cloud9

Having previously owned a RG500 and TDR250 that looks fantastic. I rode Pat Sefton's TDRG500 in the 90's but that was basically a RG500 with TDR forks & bodywork, plus a tuned motor.

Bidding only £5000, probably because it's listed under books & magazines.

They had that on the 2012 model Ade. It's just colours for 2013. I wasn't bowled over by any of the 2012 colours though.

As for waiting, I got the price down to £9500 cash on a 2012 blade in Feb this year.

Lusting is perhaps the wrong word, but it is the time of year when I start thinking about getting my first bike (again!).

Today, I am looking at this:

I wouldn't go so far as calling it lust, but I am trying hard to avoid going to a dealer for a demo ride. I just know being offered a tasty PCP deal would mean it was game over.

I've only ever seen one of these and had the pleasure of following it around Kielder Forest in Northumberland.

They are even more beautiful in the flesh.

Looks like the perfect upgrade for my versys, need to give it a ride but on paper it looks great and compared to the versys is actually rather pretty!

Read the Bike group test this month - the consensus was a 2* bike with a 5* engine.
