Really? The line under the tank/seat/tailpeice is all wrong, which is surely the point?
Like the front fairing and I'm sure the owner likes it, which is the main thing.

I guess it is all down to the individual, I like it and I am sure the owner does too.
I love the Gulf colour scheme.
Each to their owwn

People always comment on my bike being a cafe racer even though that was not the plan! it is lighter, faster and stops a lot better so maybe it has the ethos of a cafe racerscratchchin

Ooooooooh.... The only thing I don't like about that is the fact that it's not mine!

A modern day Triton anyone?

Hinckley Bonnie engine in a 961 Commando frame. Looks tasty.

isn't that a pretty standard Bros/Hawk 650, with clip-ons?

Now we're talking! And mix in a bit of Velo;

Although I'd strip it back a bit personally!

And I know it's a full race bike, not a caff but good god this is beautiful...

Its a bros 400.CBR 600F3 front end and F2 tank.Pod filters,re-jetted and laser exhaust so a bit more go! few other bits done also, nothing mad but a lot more capable than a standard bike.Used all year round too!

Looks good apart from tiny engine and brakes. I get that you think it is cafe racer due to looks but the racer part is sadly lacking.

Y'see I really enjoy riding one. They weigh hardly anything and handle brilliantly.

They're also very good brakes, being the full width hub.

Didn't you get on with the one you rode then?

(ps Bantam racing is a huge sport and highly contested by very talented riders/engineers and has been since they started, donkies years ago).

Never had a bantam, had a cubbie and a terrier. Good fun for what they were but I wouldn't even consider a tiger cub a cafe racer.

For me a cafe racer is about going fast and loud.

Each to their own mate. You like that old 1920s and earlier stuff while it leaves me cold. Just the way of the world. I also don't think unit construction looks as good as pre unit. Late 50s and very early 60s are best looking to me.... And no tin chain cases either.

Very sad to see this. Owner told me the bike is in this state - and outside the house - for quite a while.

Looks like a perfect basis for a cafe Racer!

That model 750F was always a little ropey, only redeaming feature was it looked like the 900F and this one has lost those looks with that dodgy tank/seat unit.
