Perhaps no worse than some typical sports bikes with after market "GP" style (Growler wink )exhausts ?

But that's maybe why some people are hot-footing it over to Norton to buy one ? smile

Your foot would be outboard of the exhaust enough, wouldn't it?

Maybe, but with your toes on the peg your heel looks like it would be on the exhaust.
Looks like the exhaust has been styled to match the subframe angle.
I like the look of the exhaust and think it works well, but as the bike is only a mockup I guess it remains to be seen what happens when it progresses to a running bike, guess the exhausts could be ceramic coated if there is a heat issue.
But I won't be able to wear my flip flops on it.

I genuinely think it looks absolutely perfect, which just goes to show how subjective looks are smile
Have to agree with this. It proportions are spot on, and if the seat unit were any higher, it would look totally wrong or contrived.

And love those zorsts!!
^^^^^

Gotta agree with these guys.

I love it .

Suppose they could put a heat shield where your foot might touch on the production model. Though on the 961 Commando the exhausts touch down first so maybe they are wary of the same thing happening!

Not entirely sure why they released this mock-up which is easy to critisise, and not waited a little longer to show the production model to be honest.

They're not very good at what they do?

I guess that's all part of the exercise, get some feedback, tweak a bit here and there, saves on paying a focus group.
While we are at it, the calipers, I'm not sure they have to be red, though it wouldn't be a deal breaker.

Think they're only making 50? If so, they won't struggle to sell them at that price so I suspect they're happy enough smile

I subscribe to a few custom bikey type things on Facebook and stuff and I've never seen a bike that stopped me in my tracks like this one has.

I don't really care that it says Norton on the tank - although I think that finishes it off nicely - so I'm not about supporting them as such (although again, I'd like to see them do well) - I just absolutely love the way it looks, and I'm very picky about my caff racers hehe

Kind of my point, too. Why not actually make something they can be proud of and do it really well, deliver on promises and build a great reputation for a quality product which they can sell hundreds and maybe thousands of, instead of shambling from one poorly executed, overpriced, undersupported vanity project to another?

The company seems unable to see the big picture and content with making a bit of money off the back of a well known name.

That is properly lovely. This is one of the few new bikes I really really want to own.

I am very jealous you'll get the chance to ride one y2blade!

Honestly Bob, you can sit and just look at it for ages...Getting the opportunity to ride it will be a real privilege.

It is a work of art it really is.

I bet, it is why I had my HP2 Sport in the living room. I like to admire a nice bike, and that Norton really is a piece of modern art.

Am I the only one a little sad that the "oil filler" in the seat is a fake?
Rest of the bike is lovely though and I wish Norton all the best with it.

Is that road legal, in terms of silencing? And where does the number plate go...
Drool worthy creation though, as said I'd have mine in the living room

Dear god. I haven't been so moved by a photo since I first saw one of Monica Bellucci.
