He's handling his brides suicide very well isn't he.
Whilst that is a very cynical comment, part of me finds it hard to disagree. And notice no wedding ring.

It was the best part of a year ago. Maybe he's just happy to be going home to see his kids etc ?

Althoug it would be interesting to find out the facts about this story it does all seem a bit strange.

I do understand, it's just that I find this inscesent need to twitter, facebook, whatever whatever every aspect of life somewhat unnerving. Not saying he should be crawling on all fours in horsehair and self flagellating, but the happy holidaymaker shots are somewhat inappropriate perhaps.

I don’t know why it was classified as suicide. According to Sean: under the influence of alcohol, she lost her balance, retrieving her wedding ring from the balcony. Yeah, you have to exercise your imagination to comprehend that explanation, but for suicide/murder you’d have to stretch your powers of comprehension even further (..unless he’d taken out life insurance). They were on their honeymoon.

You can’t begrudge the guy a smile, after what he’s been through, past 8-9 months.

No one but Sean will ever know all the circumstances around the tragedy, and I can imagine he's relieved to be heading home after such an ordeal, but I just think those pics are ill advised at best, and insensitive at worst. Remember, he's actually coming home, and I doubt his wife's family would be so happy to see him beaming as he is. It just smacks of insensitivity.

Either way, I hope he's able to put these events behind him and move forward.

Don't suppose we will ever know what happened, does need further investigation and questioning in my opinion.Seems peculiar at best to slip over a balcony. It's one thing to fall off one pissed up trying to climb back in to your room as happens with regularity on Euro package jaunts, quite another to launch yourself from one.
Pleased to see him back, but the cheesy shots do rankle a bit.

Wife has died (how we don't know)

Dubai Police say suicide, He says accident.

I personally think Dubai Police are covering for the hotel, below EU reg
balcony barrier maybe ?

So

unable to attend you wife's funeral.

not seen his kids.

Business gone bust.

10 months stuck abroad dealing with a totally infuriating legal system.

He will be out of adjustment of the way "WE" think he should be acting.

Once the elation of finally being home ends, he will come crashing back down to earth, the UK police arrest have done that with an almighty massive thud.

Find it hard to believe the UAE don't have equivalent building regs anyway. They have been banging up plenty of sky scrapers. Which are probably designed by western architects used to such basic standards.

Yep. They treat them as fairly expendable too.

If the building standards were that poor do you think they would be building so high without serious problems? Indian factory style collapses etc. Vast majority of management is Western to maintain the build quality.

If you say so. Still find the Police cover up of a too low handrail theory rather far fetched.

Yep, I do say so. The workmanship leaves a lot to be desired and I'm sure it won't stand the test of time compared to something built in Europe or the USA. A poorly fitted handrail on a balcony is not so far fetched really. Having said that, I'd be surprised if there is a cover up for that reason unless it is to protect someone important

I don’t ever remember safety rail height, being mentioned as a factor, by Sean, or any media article reporting this case.
