I know if my wife had died as a result of suicide on our honeymoon less than a year ago, I wouldnt be photo whoring at every opportunity on a flight home.

A strange set of circumstances indeed, why would someone want to commit suicide on their honeymoon??

And notice no wedding ring.
Maybe he doesn't have or want a ring? I've been married 23yrs and never had a wedding ring.
May well be related to the riding. Rings can cause further damage in a prang. I usually take mine off for offroading, at least. Maybe he just elected not to have one at all.

What was he actually arrested for in the UK? Would it not be outside the UK police jurisdiction anyway, whatever happened?

He's been arrested so apparently not.

It was investigating the same thing not a different matter

Erm. He's just been locked up for 3 months for attacking his new girlfriend for the way she was eating her food. Awkward.

We have a whole new perspective on Sean Emmett. Apparently the second time he had attacked her:

Quote: The Lebanese national had already been attacked by Emmett once before, resulting in him being given a domestic violence protection order, the court heard. Ms Fern said: ‘She’s vulnerable, she has no place else to go. He has the control there. 'It’s aggravated by the fact he had a DVPO for the same victim that was breached by taking her away and he served time for that.’ /end quote

It's a sad set of circumstances, and it's conceivable for someone to fall over a balcony railing if they are being stupid. However, since it's one persons word against...well, no-ones it has to be treated very carefully.

As for beating around another girl...it's not right, in fact is clear as day downright wrong. Consider though that he might be experiencing a great deal of trauma over his deceased wife, and being forced to stay in a foreign land and recieving no support from his country. He may well be an incredibly angry person.

It doesn't justify knocking someone around, girlfreind or not, but if it is something rooted in the state of his mental health, that needs to be investigated and treated.

Interestingly, I have a mechanic friend who was once a dispatch rider, and worked for the same organisation that Sean Emmett worked for. My friend has very few nice things (see:none) to say of Sean Emmett.

And remember that time he almost won at thruxton, but for celebrating a little too early? When he worked for Paul Bird..

I suspect Paul would have had a few angry words at that race, quite rightly. Never over until the large lady is belting out a tune! Leopards and spots, but as you say, we'll never know about the balcony. The new GF needs to do a runner, and quick if she has any sense...
