Has anyone put an BMW S1000RR on the podium at the TT yet in either superstock, Superbike or Senior?

Not a loaded question, I really don't know, had a feeling someone got 3rd on one in the Superstock but not sure tbh.

Keith Amor got a sixth place in the 2010 Superstock race. His fastest lap was 128.194mph, which is the fastest lap ever on a BMW.

Ah great! So with 4 years more development Mickey D has to find about another 20 seconds over that lap to be competitive. Should be doable for him

Ah great! So with 4 years more development Mickey D has to find about another 20 seconds over that lap to be competitive. Should be doable for him

On paper it is a tall order although I'd not bet against him, if anyone can Dunlop can.

Don't know which takes more balls. Crash on one for almost probable death on Pikes Peak or almost certain death on TT.
