Oh ok, I'd missed that..last I heard he was not planning on racing at all in 2014.

Hopefully the BMW will be ok, what sort of form does the S1000RR have on real roads? (in the racing sense).

Nothing, shoey has run one, si Andrews too, but no notable results yet, if they can get the electronics to play ball then I can't see why it wouldn't work, the chassis is good enough with a decent setup and the motor is just as good as the ZX10R. That said I still firmly beleive anyone will be hard pressed to beat Mcpint on the big bikes, and IMHO the 600's will be bruceys territory.

No notable results ?

I must have dreamt Keith Amor winning the superstock race at the NW200 on one then

And his second place at the UGP superstock race

And his two 3rd's in the superbike races at the UGP

Dean Harrison,Adrian Archibald,Rob Barber have had top ten results at the TT on
Be'em's ahead of Shoey and Andrews

No notable results. Nw200 isn't the TT and no one has nudged one within a minute of a podium yet at the TT. Think it's best result was merc on the penz13 bike last year?

Point is, it's untested at 130+ speeds.

The question was has it any form on the "roads" not just the TT

Three international road events per year so my point was that actually
having won and being on the podium at two of these events it has got notable results.

Sure it's not tested at 130plus at the TT but no one capable of those speeds has ridden one.

IIRC Archibald is the highest finisher with 7th or 8th,maybe that's what Mercer did also

If as you say a win and podiums at the Nw200 and UGP equate to doing "nothing" on the roads
god help us

Danny Webb announced as being a newcomer this year. If they can just get MD to commit and then Hutchy/Brooks to both get a rides then it will be a bumper year. Just need to plan my viewing points from Cronk Aashen inside the circuit - well thats what practice week is for after all.

Where you staying ? I'm at a Homestay by Injebreck Resevoir with an Aussie Couple who looked after me at Brisbane and their Daughter and Boyfriend.
Bringing Jim Bryan with me in the Van. He'll either bring his Megamoto or Mutley Strada, i'll have the ZRX.

Good News about Ryan and Keith Amor doing the Lightweight, Conor Behan staying with KMR and moving up from the Manx and the Irish Support Series and what about Danny Webb ?

Its confirmed I have my first TT this year. Going with a group of TT veterans who camp religiously every year.

Have any of you taken to the green lanes over there? Im told that some of them can get you to some great viewing point via the lanes

Wonder if the bike has been changed much. Has it completed a race yet?

It's still the Aprilia V4 motor.

And yes it completed both of it's races (in current form) at last year's TT with Mackers onboard..18th in Superbike and 24th in senior..you should know that!

Edit to add: "current form" bit
