Here i am with my first bike tour client Mr Dan Llind from USA. The man is 70 years old and rides for hours with never ending excitement. Truly inspirational dude. He sold his BMW R1100 in the early 90's and gave up biking. After this tour he went back home a bought a BMW K1200 and has been touring all over America.

this picture was taken on The Highest Pass of the world, Khardung La 18380ft.

So are they your bikes, if so where are they registered, where are you from? They look to be locally registered.

Please post some more info on the background to this trip, ie is it arranged via tour guides, if so, by whom. Do you fly out and pick up bikes locally, mor transport them from home to the start. How do you get back up transport along, again is it a case of renting local vehicles? Where did you start the tour from!?

We all want to know more, it looks fantastic!

I'm intrigued and also as a fellow Enfield enthusiast, I'm interested in how they fare on the rip, what prep is ended, what miles they've done etc.
I just built a special 500 bullet FI for my dad for his birthday. They're very cool in an odd way!!

Cheers

That's me with my plumbers smile trying to help a stranded solo rider before Sarchu at 13500 ft. The bike kept misfiring, we checked the Point and cleaned the carburetor. We worked on his bike for hours and finally figured out that removing the dirty stock air filter would do the job. The look on his face was priceless, he had been waiting an hour to see a single living soul but it turned out to be eight bikers with a whole lot of tools and spares.

Hi s3fella, the bike looks great and I especially like that big 70 on the tool box. small details like that make a project stand out. Wanted to ask u how much did the coloured rims cost?

Met these Himalayan shepherds moving more than 600 sheep and 50 horses. These two boys were responsible for 150 sheep. Shared some biscuits and road stories with them. These boys live at an average height of 12000 feet and move more than 20-30 km a day with the herd. What a life!

haven't yet toured Nepal but its a possibility. Some really great places to ride. Pokhara, Kathmandu, birganj. It would be more fun to continue to Sikkim and then Bhutan. You would need to get 4 bikers interested and we can make it a reality.

You can still find mostly every home with this sort of a cooking stove and the food tastes better too....
