This is my first forum and my first sharing of my trips. hope you like it and please share your experiences too.
This year my ride to the highest motor able road took me through an extremely tough terrain. Baralacha La pass at 160040 ft was riddled with glacier water and snow, hated it at that time but now i can't forget how much fun it was.

Enduro have too many people so the ride becomes slow and tiresome. We do this ride every year with a small group of people.

The stock tires on the Royal Enfield do pretty well. Although studded ones would be nice especially on broken down roads

Now that is an excellent first post!

Would love to do more things like this and sadly don't have any trips worth sharing as yet frown

The ancient town of Lamayuru. The first settlers came here around 2000 years ago.

You get a lot of stops(man-made and natural) on the road for photos, cigarettes and to look around

Is that an injected Royal Enfield? How did it cope with the altitude?

Yes that is the fuel injected Royal Enfield 500cc Classic. The bikes were incredible. So far i've made 3 trips and taken 4 of my 5 bikes and not a single glitch. Although i travel with a back up vehicle, a mechanic and spare parts but none of the spares were used and the mechanic was on the trip enjoying it like a vacation. Its best to be prepared though cause there are sections in the trip where for hundreds of kilometers there is not a living soul around on both sides.

This picture looks like something out of Tin Tin... one of my favorite pictures. This baby was taken at Rohtang La Pass 13050ft.
