Spaff indeed...lovely mate, Kennys pipes are a work of art, I think you made the right choice of end can.
They sure are, these aren't finished yet... He's still working on mountings and you'll notice the cans aren't riveted but it's more or less there. Also glad I went for the ally ones. Can't wait to collect it, major milestone thisDid some messing last night, figured out the plumbing. Not much room at all but managed to get an inline rad cap in and keep it all relatively simple. Then just used a HRC catch tank, not a fan of loads of cable ties but seemed the obvious way to fix it.. Need to get a round rad cap, as you can see it's a bit tight
Also threw the heel guards on and HRC brake hose reservoir thingy as I don't really have anywhere to mount a normal reservoir. Always thought these were a bit tacky on normal road bikes but it's ideal for this.
Another thing I bought the other week is a genuine ally TZ250 subframe which fits my seat perfect... Doesn't fit the bike mind you - so that's next on the list. It's so light I thought the box was empty when it came!! The ballache of this next step is I really need to be there when it's modified as the positioning of the seat in relation to the pipes in particular will make or break the look of the bike.
Once that's done the cases and cylinder is going to mick abbey for some port work.

About time, bloody slacker!
I felt guilty for hindering progress by turning up to nosey despite being invited to do so , but kept it brief, there was another distraction , but I'll let Ryan tell that one if he chooses to later...all I shall say is, he (Ryan) seems to have picked up his engineering interest and skills from his dad....all good stuff !Gassing Station | Biker Banter | Top of Page | What's New | My Stuff
