Neither, I’ve just decided I’d get more out of the money than owning the bike. The main kick I get out of it is the sense of achievement having built it and that won’t change if someone else owns it. I’ve only put it on RDLC Crazy so far as I don’t really want to advertise it to the masses on eBay etc. If I can help it.

It’s had a bit of traffic on the Facebook page. They must have nicked the info from the PB mag forum. Bike goes tomorrow evening and I’m quite pleased about who it’s going to.

Cant believe you sold that after all that time, effort and such little use Ryan...very disappointed, I think you'll regret that in time to come..

It’s had use but not much. I’m really not bothered in all honesty. I got more of a kick out of the achievement of completing it, I never thought for one minute I’d get much use out of something like this. It was more a case of setting myself a challenge and following it through.

Having it sat in someone else’s garage and cash in my pocket is better than it sat in mine unused. I can still be proud of it regardless of who owns it. As such, I don’t think I’ll regret it at all. Especially since I have other plans that I’ve wanted to follow through for a while, these projects have kept me busy in the meantime but I’ve reached a point where any pointless trinkets I own that I don’t gain any pleasure from have to go.

I’ll probably buy another bike for the road at some point but I have no plans to at the moment.
