Racing Silly Season - Who is going where in 2014?
Discussion
Does anybody know for definite, whether Suzuki will have their MotoGP bike on the grid next year?
(been a long time coming...? but then they've probably had to keep modifying it to catch up with the opposition this year)
And it's about time Kawasaki came back too on the back of their ZX10R success in Superbikes. Be good to see a grid with more manufacturers on it again. :wishfulthinking:

Article in a recent issue of PB suggested they were up for coming back in 2014 but Dorna were still annoyed about them pulling out so wasn't going to support them on tyres and travel (not an inconsiderable sum). I think Suzuki then used this as an excuse to delay coming back until 2015 when they've seen whether their bike works on 20 litres of fuel and when lots of rider's contracts are up to give them chance of securing one of the top riders.
The whole of 2014 racing (both MotoGP and WSB) looks to be similar-ish to this year with major changes in 2015.

Kawasaki's got much more of a case for coming back IMO, don't see it happening either though.

If they were clever / had enough finance they would launch a cross-planed crank GSXR in 2015 (the MotoGP bike has a funny crank apparently) to conincide with their reappearance in MotoGP.
I cannot see why Kawasaki would want to get back into MotoGP. They don't sell scooters, outboard motors, generators etc etc and they tend to just sell to the enthusiast market in the developed world. Superbike, both world and national championships, are perfect for that.
On that basis I have no idea why Ducati are in MotoGP - if they lost the Marlboro money they would be out like a shot I'm sure.

Davide Giugliano appears to have left the Althea Aprilia WSB team. No announcement where he's going yet. Ducati perhaps?
Would be good option for someone if Althea stay in WSB.
Ducati confirming Giugliano & Chaz Davies in WSB for 2014. That's 4 Brits with a confirmed ride (Sykes, Haslam, Rea & Davies).Would be good option for someone if Althea stay in WSB.
