Racing Silly Season - Who is going where in 2014?
Discussion
What a a strange situation where the title winning team currently has no riders signed for next year.
So at present we have Brookes, bridewell tipped for Milwaukee but nothing signed, I wonder if there's a bidding war between them and Samsung?
Then we have Tommy hills new team, I wonder if he's tempted to race as a paid rider with Samsung rather than managing his own team?

im a bit disappointed in lowes going to wsbk with suzuki. having won bsb on a relatively uncompetitive bike (blade doing nothing in any other championship)i was hoping for at least a competitive ride in wsbk or better a decent moto 2 seat.
the last race at brands was one of the most inch perfect rides i have ever seen by a uk rider,to consistently run onto the 2 inch band of tarmac the wrong side of the white line EVERY lap in the wet was incredible to watch, and just the sort of precision required for gp,s.
the suzuki ride probably does make financial sense, and if he can win on that it will really boost his stock.
i can understand haslam staying at ten kate after the season he has just had,but not rea.it is not often an HRC tech walks out of the garage half through a season purely down to technical ineptitude, particularly at that level, but it happened this year.
do not believe ANY comment to the contrary, the electronics are still not working ,and its doubtful that package ever will,as its essentially a car based system modified for bikes.
someone mentioned the top speed of the blade,it is not a problem anymore.i also believed it was well down on power, but according to an HRC tech there is nothing wrong with the power, its purely a delivery issue.hopefully jonny has had a heads up on the blade replacement for 2015 and is playing the long game, though i am pretty sure the wedge he is on makes it worth staying on its own.

The GBMoto squad seems to be an odd pairing. I consider Ellison to be someone who would make the showdown every year and should finish on the podium at the end of it all because of his talent, but (and I'm speaking as a big fan of his here), he is very safe, and I think sometimes doesnt go for that 40/60 pass which you need to make it as a champion. We've seen Byrne make some hard but fair moves and come within a whisker of it this year, with only Lowes taking more chances.
Also like to see Chris Walker do well, but he is 40 something, and although still possesses considerable talent, I wouldnt expect him to be pushing for a title. Are they going to get similar support to that of the PBM squad? If so, you would have thought Kawasaki would have gone with a rider of Ellisons calibre, and someone up and coming. Maybe the fact that Keith Farmer couldnt quite get it right on the PBM this season has made them re-evaluate what they want in a 2 man setup and maybe feel that Walker can dice with the front runners supporting a title push for Ellison?
I'm surprised Hicky has dropped so far down. Saying that he seems to have had a mixture of luck over the last 2 seasons and it hasnt necessarily gone his way. I thought he should have had a shot on a factory supported bike a couple of seasons ago, but it didnt quite happen for him.
O'Hallaron to get a BSB ride? Didnt he get on one about 4 seasons back when it was HM Plant? How about Gowla to come back into the series?

Perhaps it was the Walker connection that pulled it all together and they needed to give him a ride to land the Kawasaki support and access to the right bits ?Also like to see Chris Walker do well, but he is 40 something, and although still possesses considerable talent, I wouldnt expect him to be pushing for a title. Camier has signed for Samsung Honda is what I'm seeing on Twitter.
I had a feeling about a rider coming back from sbk to bsb 2 days ago but then thought that everyone had a ride for next year. If true then it will raise the class in the bsb field next year. Coup for Samsung and MSVRChicken Chaser said:
