I do like PR3s, got them on currently, but never gave as good feedback as the 023s when pushing hard. When using the shoulders when hot and getting pegs down the PR3s can get a bit squirrely in feel even though the grip is unflappable.

These new ones look like best of both.
I look forward to a set of these!

Strangely I've just been invited on the April launch of these tyres...

At least I get to see what they're like first hand!

Not that strange, you seem to run a tyre review website according to your profile scratchchin

I'm having a set of these fitted tomorrow, might as well and take advantage of the £25 back offer.

Will report back, my first set of proper road tyres, I've always have PP2, PP3 and tyres of that ilk.

Just got back from the launch, did a lot of miles on a lot of different bikes.

They're very good.

Was suprised they sell them in that square profile I saw on your bike the other day!

Probably done 1000 on my rear so far. They are good, it makes my PR3 on the front feel wooden in comparison when the weather was really cold, seems to be wearing very slowly too. Can't wait to put a front on.

Have had it slide a bit when it was really cold and wet coming out of roundabouts, but very predictable and the best wet and cold tyre I've ridden yet.

Does peg down stuff in the dry no problem too, but that's not very challenging. Feels less "wiggly" than the PR3s.

I'm hoping it'll make the PR2 even cheaper. I'm still using them and find them more than up to my needs.
Same here, although I was fancying the PR3s come next change. My chicken strips are only a couple of mils wide, it's the fact that I'm already grinding both pegs and the brake lever that stops me going any further over biggrin
Different matter in the wet though paperbag

In the pictures the front looks squared off not rounded, does that mean less contact patch leaned over?

PR3 = squirmy edges frown That looks like the major change for the PR4s; sounds like you'd be better off sticking to 2s (unless you like to squirm).

I've finally finished my write up: http://www.tyrereviews.co.uk/Article/Michelin-Pilo...

The squirmy edges have certainly been improved, but it's still a touring tyre.

Just had a set fitted to my KTM 990SM, so far they seem to be really good. Amazing grip and overall a better 'feel' than the Pirellis they replaced. Still early days as will need to see how they wear, I commute regularly as well as use the bike for fun (and doing a track day in France on Saturday); so should be a good test for them.
