I'd sooner hear about his foray in the world of bikes than what's for brunch at the Ivy today.
The bitterness on this thread is epic even by both PH and BB standards.

If it's so easy to make serious wedge doing one of the three things surmised to be the OP's trade, I look forward to reading about a lot more shiny garages containing hyper cars and hyper bikes from the naysayers on here. Although I imagine they'll just carry on b!tching and breaking their fingernails on their cheap fixer-upper snotters!

beer

There's them that can (and do) and them that dream about it.....

All credit to the OP. Ignore the proliferation of idiots making sniping comments on here.

Fair play to you Duggan and thanks for the insight into the differences between the 2 cars, I did think the GT3 was lovely.

Gotta ask what will be next? Is the Desmo and MP4 the end dream for now or have you already got your eye on something else, a 599 GTO, 458 Speciale, Aventador etc?

I understand the whole Desmo thing, if I came into money I would love an Impreza 22B, I know there are quicker cars, hell, even quicker Impreza's but when you want something, sometimes there is no substitute.

Its always wasy for everyone and point and say, oooh works in the City, everyone gets rich there, it just isn't true, there are a slightly higher than average percentage of people doing very well but there are still thousands and thousands of people with proper 'city jobs' that just make a living.

All the people that harp on about everyone in the city making mega bucks is usually at least one of these 2 things:

1. Northern and hates London
2. Clueless about the City.

Look forward to more photos OP smile

Plus even if you want to hold off riding one, the Desmosedici is a much more impressive art piece to have in your garage than some dreary old painting!

I work in the city. Wtf does that mean, roofers, bus drivers, trolley guys all work in the city.

I'm guessing your
A) banker who banks all day
B) stocks essential a professional gambler
Or
c) a mortgage advisor kinda guy. Which is possibly the easiest job in the woRld

Here is a mortgage oh here is another. If you had a computer you could see that on a comparison website. The only reason you came to me was for financial advice. But actually I can't give that out as it maybe misleading and I can't say nothing is for sure. They are the weathermen of the city.
Don't think a Mortgage broker would be considered a "City Job". Perhaps if he is Trading or Broking MBS.

P.s I suspect you know that he doesn't mean bus driver or even mortgage broker.
I was just rambling while on the toilet at work, I didn't think anyone would take anything I said seriously.

Fair point, actually. I see McLarens and Teslas most days.

I was passed by a McLaren convertible whilst I was in the MGB. I wasn't really trying though wink

Touchy. No, actually, and I've no idea why you would think that. But if the cap fits, be my guest.

I was asking a question. I was also the first to suggest the lottery bit, so figured it was. The descriptive cap is a bit too small though.

I don't understand why, if you can afford those expensive toys, you are worried about a bit of insurance.
My thinking is, it's ok paying a lot for something once, but year after year might get a bit tiresome

Just out of curiosity OP
