Morning everyone sorry I haven't been on here for a while I've been mega busy.

Not long to go now! Can't wait!

Bit of an update

Chris' bike is nearly built up and ready to do, he's been busy too so progress on that has been a bit slow. Here's a photo of how it stands now all he needs to get it finished is a headlight bulb and a chain then it's ready to go for it's mot :-)

My dad has been busy on our peds too, he's managed to put a 12v battery with charging system on it so we now have indicators on ours and we can also charge our phones, gopro sat nav etc :-) I'll take a photo of what he has done and upload that later tonight.... Looks pretty good and works too :-)

I'd like to say a huge thank you to everyone who has sponsored us it means a lot

I did it last year on my PC50 and sidecar ...
Ahhh yeah I've seen this!! How did you manage to do it with a sidecar on??? What was it like up hills?

Can you recommend any good routes for us to take?

I did have spare front sprockets with one and two teeth less, I cutaway a chainguard so I could swap them in 2 minutes, I did have to push up a few hills though !! If you want my routes send me an E mail to cesquirrell@hotmail.com and I will send them to you ... If you have read my reports you will see how and why I did my routing, if you are Facebook type in Eastcoast Pedalers and you can see more pictures and details ...

Finally got my pc on the road been on 2 short rides and the only thing that needs sorting is there is still some sand in the tank from blasting , so a good clean and carb clean should sort that !

Good luck...thumbup

I rode 235 miles through the night at 35mph in 1969 from Bournemouth to Burnley, setting off at 9pm and arriving home around 8am on a Honda CD90Z sports... I ran out of petrol near Stone/Stoke and rolled straight down a very long hill into a petrol station that was just opening for business at 6am....biggrin

Op have you tried going up a slope loaded up?

I think they're only 1.2hp but the Puch Maxi is 2.0hp and that's just about acceptable whilst loaded up.

Still make for an interesting ride!
