yeah - was very lucky - martin from ducati sorted me out with a lift for me and the bike - one of the vans had space and a very kind driver! Big thanks to them.
bits on order.....but not from suzuki - £452.80 for an end can.....ha ha.
Is the end can fked? bits on order.....but not from suzuki - £452.80 for an end can.....ha ha.
honestly, its binned now, depends how attached to it you are but to get that back on the road would be my priority.
use it until you can afford a second bike and keep that as a track slag
brake pedal - not lever. New front lever on order. Know what you mean though - just doing enough to get it back on the road for now
End can has fair bit of outer casing ground away. You can see the internals. 2nd hand ones are pretty cheap on fleabay anyhow
Have already been considering options
1) Track slag it and buy a bike trailer. It is the perfect track slag and was a riot whilst on track. This would mean I would be able to get it to/from the circuit (assuming I could physically drive) regardless of state of bike
2) fix it properly and buy cheap 600 for track thrashery (hmmm I just sold one of those for buttons)
3) buy chinese fairing - seem to be about £300 + import duty
currently on look out for another bike but people seem to be on crack re: pricing

I just rebooked for the 26th May, I'm pretty sure it's going to pish it down. If it looks dry on the day I'll still do it though, providing they have spaces left. fking wk Scottish weather.
so you pulled out of Wednesday because it might rain? wtf man just get out there its only water.....today was meant to pish down and it was great. it was damp to start but dried up in no timemoanthebairns said:

Almost certainly will. Every forecast I looked at said rain or heavy rain. I'm all up for doing wet days but not on supercorsa's, I see little point in paying £100 to tip toe round a track for a few hours. Wets on wheels are next on my list.Personally I'm focusing on getting time on track before I worry about kitting out the bike.
That said I bought some Chinese eBay levers last year and they are mega.
Came with free stickers of Asian cartoon characters and a note saying something like, "we thank you long time". So you know it's a premium purchase.
