so you pulled out of Wednesday because it might rain? wtf man just get out there its only water.....today was meant to pish down and it was great. it was damp to start but dried up in no time
Almost certainly will. Every forecast I looked at said rain or heavy rain. I'm all up for doing wet days but not on supercorsa's, I see little point in paying £100 to tip toe round a track for a few hours. Wets on wheels are next on my list.moanthebairns said:

Doing the morning session on the 10th. Will be my first trackday, and have the lofty ambition of riding it to the track and back as well!
best not tell you about the last guy from here who rode a gsxr 750 there for his first track daygwm said:

Below is a (crap) screenshot from a mates camera of me being a straight line hero, complete with baby bib on.
The sessions were also well short of 20 minutes, the last one was only 13 minutes out on track!
It was still good fun. I was mega slow until the last session when I started to get a feel for it. I had a bit of an off in the first session so built up a bit more slowly after that. I think the biggest difference the rain made was just how early you had to brake and how gentle you had to be.

Looks wet, not great for your first time. pirelli angel tyres? how did you find them on the track in the wet?
Y'know having now been out on the road in the dry, I think doing some track time in the wet has made me more confident how far I can lean and much smoother overall. They are indeed. When I bought the bike they'd only just been put on. They were ok on track, but their profile is very square, meaning that they weren't very progressive when leaning over. I had Pirelli Diablos on my last bike and they were much better in the wet, even though they were a more sporty tyre. I think the Angels have been made quite hard for endurance reasons, meaning they never feel very grippy.

I'm up again on Sunday the 1st, id planned on going today but it was £190 for the day and I didn't think knockhill is worth that.
1st of June? I agree about the £190, fair enough you "could" go out all day but for me that's a worse deal than planned sessions.
Have to agree, I'm intermediate maybe bottom end of advance group and going out with racers and people who have been riding there for years becomes tiresome on such a small track.
