I will be at Knockhill lots. Hopefully once a month at least, as it's the only riding I will be doing now. But I'll book up nearer the time based on weather predictions, same as Dare2Fail..

I've seen too many people bounce down the road in the wet there. Strangely it usually seems to be in the braking zone into the hairpin.
That's how the experts do it.

Here Mark, how come you've switched to trackdays only?

I did enjoy our jaunts down the A701.

I don't completely trust myself not to ride like a tt. The temptation to push it more and more is too much and it's only going to end one way. I'd rather bin it running out of talent at Knockhill than into an oncoming lorry on the A701. I know I'll really miss it, and probably regret it once the sun comes out. But I can always get a daytime MOT if I change my mind.

Yeah, I know what you mean, fair play to you for having the self awareness and humility to do that. I don't think it's a soft option mind!

Who knows, you may find it gets it out of your system. See you in the gravel!

I'll be there to pop my trackday cherry. Not sure when - probs not warm enough to be fun until april at the earliest.

If there's a consensus on a date then I'll go for that.

Why are the open days twice the price of the 'full' days (novice/inter/fast groups)?

1st March? Do you need to be a member of the track day club?

yes, but IMO 1st of march is too early to go round knockhill on a bike. not worth it... its cheap for a reason.
