I'll be going down to do the James Whitham day regardless.

at croft or Anglesey. with oulton/cadwell/donie after or before.

Others are welcome would be good to have a group for a few days away.

I'll not bother chucking out my old duvet and pillows!

Alex. You need to practice. Lots. Often. Unless your naturally talented, and even if you are, it's the only way to get better. 11 Trackdays isn't going I get you at the front of the grid. If it was, every and his dog would be on the grid.

So you can either go practice all the fking time and spend a fortune doing it, or you can lighten up, go ride your bike and have fun doing it.

wtf happened to you in the afternoon you were gone after lunch, it was the whole day!
First session was aborted half way through cause I couldn't see...bloody air vents were all shut on my lid. When I came in I realised I hadn't done the strap up either. Lucky escape #1 for the day. Second session I wiped out at the hairpin...can't grumble as apart from a light graze on the footpeg and brake lever there wasn't a mark on it. Still can't get my head around it...Lucky escape #2. Session number 3 I was a bit freaked by the oil at the bottom of Duffus, even more so after another big front end slide on it.Lucky Escape #3. Fourth session went fine, no drama and got back to 63's which ain't bad when you feel like the grim reaper's been sitting on your shoulder all day so I decided to quit while I was ahead. That's 3 track days on one set of pistons so not stretching our luck any further we decided to call it a day and we went home to stick fresh pistons & rings in before Saturday.

Apart from that I was gubbed. I don't know how anyone can give it 100% for more than 4 maybe 5 sessions without loosing concentration and start missing apex's and braking points.

From what I can see there's still places available for Sat morning if you're up for one last gallop before you start your winter strip down? It's a long winter!

Wouldn't mind seeing my get-off but suspect it probably looks a bit pathetic. nerd If you wouldn't mind sending over that vid whenever you get a chance that'd be great. jamie.johnstone123atgmail.com Cheers!

I can't afford to bin anything! I only have one bike, my road going zx6r.

Is there a particularly high number of offs there? Is that due to track/number of riders/people pushing too hard?
If you fancy a track bike mate ill be selling my zx6r to get something newer if its any good to you.

If you're that badly injured you would be in hospital.

You also have to put an emergency contact number on your disclaimer form for a reason...

I have been on loads of track days to cadwell or Donington which are 2-3 hours from my house, on my own. Crashed a few times too. Never been unable to drive back.

How much?

Tbh I'm not really in a position to buy one yet as the future Mrs is keeping a close eye on the wedding funds.

But you never know, I need a stag do after all....

Maybe I'm unlucky, I just had a relatively slow high side and completely goosed my left ankle, Im 3 hours from home being at Knockhill, Luckily it was Sunday I came off so only had to drive a short bit in a lot of pain and my missus and dad came to meet me to take over.

Hots off to the guys at Knockhill who helped me put all my gear in the van and offered to run me back up the road, Don't think there would be many offering to drive my van back up from Donington though.

If you got an Ambulance home from down south you'd probably have to leave your bike, van or car and all your gear down there till your fit to go pick it up.

I'll not bother chucking out my old duvet and pillows!
Id be right up for a trek down south sometime, Id probably fit another bike in the back of the Vivaro if its any good to anyone.
