Went up to Rhodes & Track in Northampton to get my new Melotti tail tidy fitted to my MV. This is a new venture and as such all the kit including tyre fitting/balancing, ramps, and the Dynojet Dyno are all brand new.
Iain is a lovely chap with great attention to detail.
Italian bikes are his main bread and butter but all are welcome.

Ian is a top chap and as you say, I popped down there a couple of weeks ago on the LC , when it started to rain, he offered to take the bike home in his van, which I foolishly declined Iain is a lovely chap with great attention to detail.

I know mr 996 has had his bikes serviced by Ian of recent, his tea isnt that great thou!
Decent ride out on the GSXR today, around Northants, Ox's Woces, and Bucks...bit chilly until lunch time but a nice cream tea in Stow on the Wold soon warmed us up.
Felt a bit guilty about not having so much as wiped a rag over the GSXR since it was delivered in January, so I gave it a clean when I got home, come up a lot better than I thought it would..
Touching on another thread of recent, my friend with the k7 750 swapped bikes with me for a bit, his bike felt like a tourer compared to mine, much more leg room and upright bars, you can tour on one of tehse, no problems...using a slipper cluch again was really notceable as well, but the K1 handles and brakes very well...and I love the motor..it relaly is a twist and go above 50MPH...even in top it drives really hard at thsi speed, I reckon it'd munch my Hayabusa, everywhere..

If you are not used to having a properly hydrated body then yes, you will find that you piss like a race horse. You'll body will soon get used to it though. right so no caffeine, is it ok to put kia-oria in my water, I cant stand water it tastes of nothing....

After a long winter on the turbo trainer it is good to be pedalling in the fresh air.
Get up a mountain man feel those legs burn, then go like foook on the way down again. Top tip - Hit jumps at the correct angle, trees dont give way not even when your 4/5ft in the air. I thought waking up birds flying around your head was only in cartoons

Why stop over winter, I don't.Nice bike.
Is it worth starting another thread with all the fitness stuff we do, running , cycling etc ?
We had one before, in here, but the fat people didn't like it.
