Passed my IAM test today (picture of confused horse we came across on the test route below... it was walking... then stopped walking... then faced sideways in the road).

They all do that, sir

Went out Friday to Northampton from Cambridge via St Neots then Kimbolton. Nice ride.

Bit cold coming back mind and that's the only reason I was only doing just over the NSL when I spied a TrafPol behind me. Obviously I slowed to 75 (as not to make it obvious I'd seen them) going thorough the A14 speed cameras and they stayed behind for a bit and went in front. They also cam off at the same junction and pulled over (for some doughnuts) and let me past.

I guess they were expecting me to hoof it through the average speed cameras and when I didn't they lost interest!

Looking good!

I went out to some bike dealers today with a friend who is hoping to start his lessons soon, had a bit perv on the metal. Saw some really nice bikes on the streets of Newcastle.

K5/6 GSX-R1000

ZX-10R with a Two Brothers exhaust.

It was sunny so the Ducatis were out.

1199 Panigale

I like the Diavel, while it's not the sort of thing I'd spend my money on, I do like the look of it. The Termignoni on this one looked amazing, I wish I'd been able to hear it running.

Excellent choice, i have a red FV, has been a reliable workhouse for mm must be 10 years.
76k and have not had the need to change the plugs, simple to do oil and filter change.
Just watch that rear hub eccentric adjuster, strip it if it starts getting very stiff to turn.

Have fun, really great bikes

The familys 1957 Norton Dominator, uncle used to race this bike until he unfortunately passed away, I was never fortunate enough to meet him (born too late). Currently restoring from the ground up, not much left to do, be a beautiful show bike once it's done.

This one turned up on eBay the other day and nothing else I've seen has looked as good for the money (less than £1500). It'll be a welcome change from my bmw. Back on something that does the job but is fun as well. Sounds great too with the quill can.

Not long been back from a thrash around the Milton Keynes GP circuit...

Best time of day to ride around/through that part of the world, roads are much quiter and you dont get quite so many of the way "im turning right, so ill sit in the right hand lane of the dual carrigeway for a mile " brigade..

Just been for a one-night trip to Wales with some friends. What an awesome time - incredible roads, constant overtaking, no police and beautiful weather. Couldn't ask for more. My Blackbird behaved impeccably. Just glad I changed the front brake pads at 11pm the night before... one was down to the backing plate. Oops.

It's the 796. We couldn't have been more lucky with the weather and clear roads - can't wait to head to Europe in September now!

I've only a couple of short rides this weekend :-(

Late on yesterday I stopped for fuel, just as I was waiting to pull out of the station this van decided to try and hump a jet ski. st myself I had visions of it flying into the side of me luckily it stayed where it was just shoved the jet ski into the motor home.

Today the Mrs went shopping with step daughter today so thought I'd take advantage. So had a nice ride on some ok roads then over the bit rubbish Cat n Fiddle and back on some more ok roads.
