Forged Marchesinis. Great wheels, although have been tempted by the carbon BSTs on more than one occasion.
The gold looks just right though Ade. For road use there's so little difference it's not worth it.
How's she going after the work?? Did you get her on the dyno? More interesting, has she been on some scales??
Steve, I haven't been able to take her out as much as hoped since the work was completed. Typical. But those times out, she is a totally transformed and angry ANGRY beast. Her temperament has been completely changed from before: before she was a torquey and gentlemanly superbike. Now, her noise has even changed- from the slightest touch on the throttle, she picks up revs alot quicker and sounds like a chainsaw through twin tubas. Power delivery is immense without needing to rev her: torque overwhelms the front wheel from low down, but as you hit 6k rpm, she finds a fat seam of crescendoing power that has no mechanical resistance. You have to really hold on hard, get your weight fully over the bars to keep her down as full throttle is not possible otherwise. The pegs/tank/body interface is intimate! It's as intense as having sex with 2 viagras and a nympho who's been deprived for 2 weeks biggrin

No scales, but I'd be interested too!

Love the mechanicals, can't say i'm sold on the colour scheme, especially the white seat and anodised farkles.
I think the bike speaks for itself without needing to be rolled in glitter.....Personally, i think an original paint job would have looked much nicer, especially the blue & white

Peraves Ecomobile. On my fantasy garage list should I win the lottery (the lottery that I don't do - so it's a slim chance).

The white seat did look st, the pic above is how he's got it now I think from his latest posts

What did it go like podman? I assume he's still running it in?

Looking at the PV arrangement i'm guessing it's another TSS motor? If so, it's good to see another one come together.

Thanks for clearing that up. I was confused as it had a BMW badge but I`ve never seen one like that before, I presume it had a BMW engine in it. It would have been good seeing it riding around the Ring smile

Yep, hopefully he will take the advice on rev limits

Hope so. If one good thing comes out of Smads' expreience, it's that it is now irrefutably known that there is a hard ceiling on these motors.
Also, is he using the TSS supplied pistons?? Apparently they are made/supplied VERY tight so he should take a frequent peek up the exhaust ports to check for scuffing. Easy enough to relieve the pistons if they're showing signs of tightness BEFORE it siezes.

I dont know what spec the motor is but I did take the barrels over to a specialist place in Gloucester to have them plated.

We didnt go above 70MPH so cant really say around the performance.
