Little ride from Oxford to Aberystwyth today. It's a lot to do in a day and I'm knackered. The Welsh roads are awesome, smooth and twisty and compared to home empty.
This is a pic of the Elan Valley road on the way to Aberystwyth, again despite being a tiny road it's smoother than most A roads at home.
Met some lovely bikers on the way too and missed pretty much all of the rain, managed to drop the bike when I lost my footing/balance too. No real damage just a few scratches and a broken indicator lens.
Must do it again soon!

Some of my favourite roads are round that way, enjoyable on the faster stuff or just for poodling about. If it's quiet when I get to the Elan valley I'll often strap the lid to the sissy bar until we come out on the main road at t'other end. There's a cracking little camp site in Rhayader with a walk along the river into town where you'll find a chippy and a couple of good pubs...

S'not big or clever!

You're my hero.

I will keep practicing.

Hopefully one day I will feel confident enough to do a one handed one.

Safe riding

Scrubbed too hard, washed the indicator lens off (might have a couple of those surface mount ones if you're stuck - different to your rear one).

Actually, that doesn't look standard, VFR rear end, is that a 17" front wheel too?

Ha! Yes that kindly removed by a woodpigeon!

You've clearly got a keen eye, VFR single sided rear end and yes 17" front wheel! Makes it a bit sharper to ride.

What is the reason for the VFR swingarm? I've seen it on a few early blades over the years but never understood why. Is it just a looks thing?

Is it a straight swap?

Fairly simple swap, looks nice, it is marginally longer also!
