Marco wasn't the one who came up with it, but he still said it, and I wanted that picture on there so it made more sense to put his name to it!

Seems sad the thing he will be remembered most for is a bdisation of a ste film quote.

I can't imagine any bike fan is going to remember him most for a quote, regardless of its source.

I imagine they are silly money now..We spotted these 3 on the harbour at St Tropez a couple of years ago, they drew a good crowd..

If you don't insist on a Jota they can still be picked up pretty reasonably. Matching numbers Series 2 3CL's are being broken for spares for Jotas as the parts are identical apart from exhaust, pistons and camshafts.

Here's my (alas as yet unrestored) Bitsa Jota ready for a weekends camping.

Had a good night-time ride to Loomies last night. Rounding a bend at three figures into a wall of fog is interesting eek

Saw this MV F4 1000 312R (I think that's the full name). As you can see, it was in excellent condition:

3 figures in fog, you'll live long.

It had been completely clear up to that point. It was all coming off one field at the bottom of a dip. By the time I actually entered the fog I was going a safe speed; it was just rounding the bend and having that initial "oh merde" moment that I was referring to.

Finally got the Ducati back, wheels re-painted, fairing touched up and carbon fibre brought up to 'new' standard, can't wait to get out on her now:

Some new wall art for my lounge, laser engraved on a sheet of aluminium.
Does seem a bit odd as it was a quote from a film and may even be ficticious, but I suppose if someone said it....

I am thinking of getting one of one with Cameron Diaz saying "do me up the pooper Big Boy".
I mean it was the guy who works at the burger van up on the bypass that actually said it, but you know...

Nice bit of 'sentiment' stylishly done totally ruined by one post.

The fact that Simoncelli DID actually say what has been used, he just didn't conceive the (general quote), makes your post rather obtuse.

But it's not his quote though is it? I get what S3 fella is saying. If I got a picture of me with "if in doubt flat out" next to it, it would have the same relevance.

If that's what the bloke wants then fine but it doesn't make sense to put someone else's quote on it.
