Certainly not that I'm going racing as I'm ste. Really enjoyed my first go on track on loons old R1 but feel I need to go back to basics and get something more tame to learn on.

Not got it yet but as long as it's as described when I go I will be bringing it home. We shall see.

Looks like a nice wee starter bike for the track, I fancied one of these for the track. How much did you pay if you don't mind me asking

Agreed on £750 with a set of wheels with wets too. It's got 10k on the clock but it's probably had the speedo drive unplugged for years! But at that money I'm not arsed. Has V5 and says the vin numbers intact untouched. Dynojetted carbs and just serviced can't really go wrong.

Sounds a bargain, I nearly bought one last year for £1350.

Even if you only get a year out of it on the track you can still punt it on and loose next to nothing.

Lovely.

Looks just like my garage except I don't have a Morgan... or a Triumph anymore... and you can see the floor in yours...

Just added this lovely old girl to my stable. I need at 15yr old bike at all times in order to qualify for the Footman James Classic Bike policy. This then also covers my modern bikes and all for a reasonable premium. So when I heard that this one was avail I bought it over the phone. I know the owner and his standards of micro analism on keeping things clean. We did the deal for me to have it totally standard as I will mainly use it for "Polishers Events" at VJMC etc. It is a bike known to PH as it was unearthed form long term storage by Podman who then sold it to 3DP and now back to me.

It turned on to 4720 miles as I rolled into my driveway this morning. 1999 Suzuki GSX-R 750 X registered in 2000.

Done 300 miles this year on my MV and 4500 on my Speed Triple so for me that's not a bad year.

The Suzuki will probably only see 500 miles per year to shows etc.

Yep, Thursdays the day biggrin I'm just making sure it really happens before committing to selling the zx6. I'm still expecting it to be a model bike or some sort of elaborate Jeremy beadle style hoax
