I had a late RD125LC, with the early YPVS motor and TZR wheels/brakes (import RDZ), loved it despite it being slower than my mates on TZRs (not bitter much).
I had a lovely run round NWales on my own today, weather was decent despite the gloomy clouds in the pic.
That looks like a potentially wild and windswept road. Must have been fun today.I had a lovely run round NWales on my own today, weather was decent despite the gloomy clouds in the pic.
From the start line of the F600 race on Saturday at Cadwell. Bit wet so went out on the R6 as I didn't have a wet set up for the Daytona.
Managed to finish 11th and get a 1:49 in the wet which I was pleased with.
Went back out on the Triumph in the dry on Sunday and couldnt adapt back to it straight away, which was really irritating as I'd been doing consistent 1:43s on the test day. Then ended up getting arm pump so got pretty st results. But I secured 2nd in the novice championship so that's all good.

Not a picture.
I've just seen James May on TV visiting the VW factory and he was riding on a pushbike around the factory, whilst doing a piece to camera. I noticed that anytime he came across a hazard (a worker) he'd instinctively cover his front brake lever?
Always a biker.

I quite like that weather, seem to go quicker comparatively in it than I do in the dry. The river running through the gooseneck wasn't very nice though, must have been at least 5 people crashed there because of it. Also the spray was horrendous and I had to pull in from one race after my pinlock somehow became dislodged and I was steaming up. Another pic showing the spray:
