Given that its managed to embed itself in a plastic/fibreglass fairing, I'd say it was plenty sharp and fast enough to have gone right through his visor or his neck
That kills millions every year

YamaGamma arrived today.. bloody hell , its whippet light...and very, very naughty...sounds mucho angry too..
Love this paintscheme, when my best riding mate bought one of these and I had my LC, back in end of 1984/start of 5, it made the LC look(and feel) like a builders skip..
Tight fit..!
Brake/forks MK3 Gamma....forks leaking, some thing for me to do over Winter.
Looks fantastic mate, had a rg125 blue and white back in the day.
Nice one
TSA pipes sound fit & suit the bike perfectly
Ducked the showers and took her for a few mile spin..
Brakes, steers (even with leaking forks)and goes lovely, real kick in the pants on the pipe.have a wee niggle with the motor to sort and the wiring is not up to standard with the rest of the bike but it is a credit to its previous owner/builer.

Well worth it thou, I love the Allspeeds on the LC.
It'll put a smile on your face when you fire that up..
They are excellent quality, I have one fitted to my fizzy,It'll put a smile on your face when you fire that up..
£310 all in and made in England too.
Do you not fancy a pair for your LC
Purchased a set of Allspeed stickers from Norbo on the RD site to finish the look off, similar too:

IMHO other pipes may give more power but for standardish LCs, it has to be these or Microns(if you can get hold of them..)

These are not a roll off the production line jobby, each pipe is only handled by 3 people apart from the chroming aspect, and one of those is to package and invoice
A proper cottage industry that should be supported
Sorry if this sounds like an advert, but just ask Jim Lomas or Tyga if they will do a bespoke CR500/Mito or 1960's Ducati 250 exhaust

That cr500 mito PB built? Thought that thing shook itself to death years ago
As far as I know JL only make bolt on pipes now
JL are based in Romania using..yes Romanian labour ...but UK pricesAs far as I know JL only make bolt on pipes now
It was Gibson that made the pipe for the PB bike, but a pipe made to fit for the bike/chassis. No more! Its still around as far as know, but the editor of the mag as far as I know has never been able to see any of his pipe dreams through......amazing how easy it is to come up with an idea when every fecker apart from you is financing it.
Maybe why so many people on here are following your thread on your project. For you, by you, financed by you.
Having met quite a few journos, my respect for them is quite low. How they lean on suppliers/dealers/manufacturers is cringeworthy and apparent in their editorials. I have met so many people in the motorcycle world whose voice speaks volumes more than the words these people write
Ah yeah I remembered there was something odd about the set up.
There's no doubt about it the JL pipes are nicely made, but he's just knocking out standard designs.
There's probably not many people you can go to nowadays with a custom build and expect them to take all the details into consideration. Kenny (TSA) spent two weeks doing the maths before going near mine, then he made the pipes in card and now the templates have all gone off for lazer cutting. He's measured literally everything, ports, timing, inlet manifold volumes, carbs etc.
When I contacted JL I basically got "buy this one it will work", well yes I know it'll run but that's not really what I'm going for! Glad I went to kenny.
Shame these people are a dying breed.
