much damage?
Right clip on and brake lever snapped.Bar end and grip knacked.
Crash bung snapped.
Clutch case cracked.
Clutch release arm knacked.
Right footpeg snapped.
Right mirror broken.
Front right indicator detached.
Exhaust scraped.
Rear fairing cracked and scratched.
Right fairing scratched.
Tank dented and scratched.
Rear brake pedal bent.
Me - cut knee to side of jeans knee protector and bruised calf - hobbled for a couple of weeks.
Think I need a lie down in a dark room now.
180 quid for a new clutch case and forty for the clutch release arm! Bit more expensive than I first imagined.
Anybody got one going for less?
Expensive lesson learnt - don't be a tt!
Completely non bike related but we had a visitor today.......
[Attenborough Mode On]
Say hello to a Pangolin.
One of the lads rescued it from the locals who were selling it for food.
problem now is they're going to be hunting them just so we can buy them to save them...
it's off to a National Park up the road now, hopefully to live in peace

DO NOT fkING DO THIS!.I CANNOT STRESS THIS ENOUGH, TAKE THE BAG OFF NOW!
when I bought my Daytona the guy done the exact same thing, stored it in the above manner, the amount of fking rust on a 6 year old bike was fking unreal. I swear to God this is the worst thing you can do, unless you have a fk off de-humidifier.
The moisture will be trapped with no where to go, it will act like a fking greenhouse.

I thought Clem was having a laugh, it's obviously going to trap moisture.

I did worry about that but they do come with a moisture absorbing pack that sits inside and is supposed to "last a season", and there is a humidity indicator inside that I'll keep an eye on. I CANNOT STRESS THIS ENOUGH, TAKE THE BAG OFF NOW!

I've only done this as my garage is a rickety leaking mess that is damp anyway, I thought this might be the lesser of two evils. Appears I am wrong!
