when I bought my Daytona the guy done the exact same thing, stored it in the above manner, the amount of fking rust on a 6 year old bike was fking unreal. I swear to God this is the worst thing you can do, unless you have a fk off de-humidifier.

The moisture will be trapped with no where to go, it will act like a fking greenhouse.

I did worry about that but they do come with a moisture absorbing pack that sits inside and is supposed to "last a season", and there is a humidity indicator inside that I'll keep an eye on.

I've only done this as my garage is a rickety leaking mess that is damp anyway, I thought this might be the lesser of two evils. Appears I am wrong!
