I think that lane stays tidy as the fields surrounding it are accesable from larger surfaced roads, most of them round here get a pounding this time of year too with the sugarbeet harvest.
Yep, its a freeride 250, great little bike for exploring the back roads.

Brilliant, I couldnt imagine a better day out than that on a Winters day.

Was you on your own? Can be a bit dodgy off roading solo....and a lot more fun when you can fill your mates face in with dirt...

I think that he will look for a while at £3k. You can buy a great CX650 EC for £1500 and it was a much better bike overall. The one in the photo is an A model so not the first they were Z models.

Realistically I think that its £1500 at best. However that is only my opinion.

I dont doubt it mate, daft thing is, whilst a later model of bike is almost always better than the original, its nearly always the fact that the original becomes most sought after when it comes to classics or vintage..as I say I havent a clue what CXs are worth..£1500 eh, id buy it myself for that..

He isnt lacking for room so I guess it'll end up sitting with a few of the others for a while longer.

Just come accross this pic on the RD forum, does this scream the 80s or what..

The man describes his kit as "seaboot socks, beer towel patched jeans(does any pub use beer towels now??!) and a cut-off....classic!!"

Nice. How do you like it? I'm really thinking of getting a hypermotard next.

Are they good fun?

Thanks Podman. Done about 60 miles on the ride home. Got a few bits that need sorting so that's my winter project now.
As for the stickers Yazza I'm undecided if there staying or not. Was looking for a standard bike, but then got offered this from a friend for a very decent price and couldn't really say no.

Thanks, I've only just returned to green laning and id forgotten how much fun it is, I was on my own, not great i know and you do feel at times you should really be in a group. Im waiting for my dads health to improve so he can get back out with me. Until then I'm resisting the urge to push it and not tackling anything too crazy

I love it, great sound and plenty enough power for the real world. I'm sure there are plenty of cheaper bikes with better performance out there, but as a complete package it works perfect for what I need.

Will measure when I get home tonight but I'm 99.9% sure they're 17mm dzus fasteners.
