I will dig out the current suspension settings when I am back with the bike weekend after this.

Cheers Pod.

Mot, tax and insure it, ride it for a month or so and then sell it maybe around easterish? Just gave it a little test on private land, it's a lot slower than i remember them being and the front brakes aren't very efficient but it's a cute little thing.

Think it's worth over 500?

That looks very tidy and it must rank as one of the quickest bike refreshes this winter!

biggrin bought it on 18th jan, so 2-3 weeks?

Bought 120
Manual 10
Exhaust 40
Oil 8 x2
Plug 2
Front sus kit 10
Front bulb 3

So with mot it'll owe me 220 odd quid. I put a serious amount of elbow grease and hours of graft into it though.

Id rather keep it as a "back up" then sell it for any less than that...

That's the other option. I've got the hornet to finish and sell yet too. I'll do a couple of small journeys on the moped and see if i bond with riding it. It's such a cute little thing though. It's tiny, weighs sod all and uses so little fuel.

When riding off road just like most people me and my lad have a tendency to sit to far back so we thought we would give this seat cover a try on the KTM. Looks like it should do the trick

Is it whole new foam, or a foam cushion in the rear part of the cover?

Looks comfy when you do want to sit back!

I think it looks great, and would definitely just tuck it away if you're not going to use it. What's 500 quid? In my mind the bike is worth much more as a piece of engineering.

(this is maybe why I don't sell anything, I'm not responsible for the wife not talking to you)

The foam is in the rear part of the cover so it is a direct replacement. And as you say, the rear part does look a bit more inviting than the standard KTM seat!

As of October you don't have to display tax discs, so thought it'd be cool to get period ones for the old bikes. Got a sample for the 1928 Royal Enfield sidecar outfit, they arrived today smile

Really pleased with them;

And to celebrate, been meaning to pick this up from dad's since Christmas. The pint bottle of IPA is for scale:

Good luck with that George...got some wets ready to go I hope?!

After selling my SRAD to Pete some weeks ago, I found a replacement for it within my budget today, not as clean as the old SRAD but its still a very nice, low mileage GSXR1000 K1, apart from a carbon front mudguard(probably as a result of disc lock accident) its completley standard and devoid of any tat ,even has the standard indicators/mirrors in place.

Im sure it'll be a lot of fun to ride and take up duties on the occasional tour as well.

They're already on. Don't think I'll be needing any dry tyres tomorrow! Maybe some studded ones though hehe
