Hmm, might have to start looking at insurance costs for these, might be an option for a summer weekend bike...
Edit: 2006 R1, £674 a year fully comp (£550 excess) - 4000 miles inc. commuting, licence not held for a year, 1 year NCD, garaged
It will come down loads after you had your licence a year. Mine dropped not far off half the price that it cost in year one. Edit: 2006 R1, £674 a year fully comp (£550 excess) - 4000 miles inc. commuting, licence not held for a year, 1 year NCD, garaged

Does the front brake line just hang loose like that?
it does, they don't rub against anything, I may re fit the standard brake lines with the fittings, the Goodrich lines have been on the bike like that for the past 7 seasons on track.Does the front brake line just hang loose like that?
I still have the standard brake lines and all the fittings so I may go down that route together with a standard pitch chain and sprockets.

I was surprised at how reasonable the price was tbh, £700 for an R1 when I was getting quoted £1500 for a triumph 675 as a main bike with 0 ncd (10k miles, parked on driveway).Gassing Station | Biker Banter | Top of Page | What's New | My Stuff
