Very nice Pete although I'm pretty sure there are rules about using a Ducati between October and May It's laid up now they've salted the roads with the exhausts off for me to spend the evenings polishing them to a mirror finish.

Hello there, was looking at your bike earlier on your mod thread on the ST forum!
What tail tidy is that? I'm waiting for the D3 bloke to get round to knocking one out but am getting a little impatient.
Also looking at new mirrors - but unlike you I quite like the look of the original "antennae" style so am looking at a french company that produces similar style, but in lovely machined metals and with hugely improved vision.
A rain light as per ACU regs. Whatever next, "Ducks and Drakes" in a race if the conditions are a bit off. I am all for safety but where does it stop.
A really stupid example of stuff not thought through when I last raced was in 2001 when they introduced the lower fairing to act as a catch tank for sump and/or coolant in the event of a major mechanical failure. Now this is actually a good thing but the pre 1972 Classics are exempt from this----Just how barmy is that when a modern horizontally split crankcase is deemed a risk but a stty old vertically split one that leaks when stationary is not ????
